Raul Cremona was born as a magician and very young approached the nightlife world.
Soon, however, he approached the world of cabaret, and after gaining good experience in Milan’s historical venues, such as Derby, Cà Bianca and Zelig, he tried his hand at comedy and parody, inventing characters such as the irreverent Mago Oronzo, the shy and tender Manipolini, Silvano the Magician of Milan catastrophic emulator of the real Mago Silvan, up to more recent masks, from the young actor Jacopo to the notorious unrepentant machoist Omen. ” It all started with the box full of magic tricks waiting for me under the Christmas tree as a child.

That gift changed my life. ” Using the art of magic in a comic key, Raul Cremona seeks to portray the frustrations and ambitions of the average magician, creating funny and irreverent characters. But his “creatures” also bear the mark of his great passion for American comic cinema and his experience as a wandering actor. Since the mid-1980s Raul Cremona has participated in numerous radio and television shows, including Mai dire gol, Scatafascio, Domenica in , Zelig, the special dedicated to magic Sim Sala Min. Ovvero l’Arte della Prestidirigiri… He also participates in the program Crozza Italia Live, is part of the cast of the fiction Anna e i cinque.

In 2010 and 2011 he leads on Rai Due Masters of Magic, the Italian Championship of Magic broadcast from the Palais of Saint-Vincent.
In 2012 he is in the cast of the TV movie Area Paradiso, written and directed by Diego Abatantuono.

In 2013, he presents for Rai 5 SIM SALA MUSIC – La canzone comica in Italia, a three-part journey through the Italian comic music repertoire of long and prestigious tradition. With his usual vervecomics, Raul Cremona is not only presenter, but also actor and affabulator, thus bringing into play all his talents as a modern histrion.

He also hosts Gulp Magic, where Cremona presents footage of the greatest international illusionists in period clips, teaching small illusionist and fantasy games to children, and recounts his first encounter between magic and the stage. Alongside his television activity, he is active on stage with the shows Metaphysical and Half … sucks, Sim Sala Min, Sim Sala Omen, Recital, and Hocus molto pocus.

Seven books published: The Magician Oronzo.With only the laying on of hands… , Right? Right!, What about the woman? Smoke Smoke!, The Very Last Letters of Jacopo Ortis, Sim Sala Min, The Art of Prestidiri…, The Great Zirmani.

In the cinema he participates in Il Cosmo sul comò di Aldo Giovanni e Giacomo, Cado dalle Nubi the first film by Checco Zalone, Ci vuole un gran fisico, La gente che sta bene and La sedia della felicità.

In 2016 he debuts the first edition of the first Festival of Magic, a project strongly desired by Raul Cremona that presents six of the most talented Italian magicians on the stage of Milan’s Teatro Manzoni. After the great success of the first edition, Festival della Magia 2 is staged in 2017.
