While I am an advocate of the infinite potential inherent in progress, I am glad that the advent of new digital technologies has not decreed the end of traditional trade fairs. It was clear from doubt that virtual trade shows would not succeed in supplanting traditional ones: there are indeed aspects and peculiarities of the products and services offered that only by going in person to the booth can be known, evaluated and appreciated.

I thank the organizers for their dedication in preparing one of the most appreciated events in our city.
